This entry-level policy services position operates under close supervision and serves as the primary contact with policy services customers. The Policy Services Representative communicates directly with agents and insureds by answering telephone inquiries, relying heavily on instructions and pre-established guidelines with limited reliance on experience and judgement to perform the functions of the position. This person utilizes computerized system(s) for information gathering; creates reports as necessary. Makes underwriting decisions and may answer questions from and gives direction to policyholders, claimants, agents and others. This person will assure delivery of “best in class” customer service and contribute to the quality of our policy services handling. It is also expected this person exhibit strong interpersonal skills with other team members, while providing strong contributions to overall company and policy services department success.
Conversational Spanish is a plus but not required.
Prior experience in Personal Lines Insurance is a plus but not required.
