    The Policy Services Supervisor reports to the Policy Services manager. Under guided supervision, you will be responsible for supervising and directing policy services. In addition, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing others on the policy services team. Protecting the company’s assets through sound supervisory level leadership, policy services and business practices. This person will assure delivery of (1) “best in class” customer service (2) quality policy services handling (3) effective underwriting decision making and (4) continuous improvement. Delivers on the development of employees at individual contributor level. Finally as a member of the policy services leadership team, the supervisor will be expected to exhibit strong interpersonal skills with other departments and team members, while providing strong contributions to overall company and policy services department success.



    Key Accountabilities & Competencies:

    • Potentially 15-25 policy services representatives in shared supervisory team environment as direct reports
    • Implement and uphold all policies of Traders along with the willingness to work hard in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
    • Ensure all operations are consistent with the stated mission and direction set forth by Traders
    • Provide guidance and direction to individual contributors, including coaching and development. Address performance and training opportunities in a proactive manner as needed.
    • Assist in setting and attaining annual goals and objectives for the policy services department
    • Ability to drive superior results through the knowledge and application of supervisor level leadership skills, technical expertise, and reporting analysis
    • Demonstrated ownership attitude with the ability to be analytical and make accurate decisions
    • Excellent people skills and positive working relationships with other groups and vendors, internally and externally
    • Understand and apply Word, Excel and other PC programs
    • Other duties as assigned



    Core Requirements:

    • 4 year college degree or equivalent in related work experience
    • Prefer individual with 3 – 5+ years related experience leading and/or directing policy services handling arising from automobile policy underwriting
    • Prior Agent experience and licensing a plus
    • Ability to maintain Agent license as necessary
