This Serious Injury & Litigation Claims Manager position reports directly to the Director of Claims and will oversee two to three supervisors with teams of auto adjusters handling auto property damage and injury claims. This role is focused on excess serious injury exposures and litigation. Protecting the company’s assets through sound leadership, claims and business practices, while displaying strategic vision is vital. This person will assure delivery of (1) “best in class” customer service (2) quality claims handling (3) loss adjustment expense control and (4) continuous improvement. Delivers on the development of employees at all levels and has the ability to succession plan. Finally, as a member of the claims leadership team, the Serious Injury and Litigation Claims Manager will be expected to exhibit strong interpersonal skills with other departments and team members, while providing strong contributions to overall company and claims department success.
